They say if a shark stops swimming it dies. Creating is my swimming and if I stop creating, well maybe I won’t die, but I do get kind of grumpy, and that’s not good for anyone!
I’m a huge fan of Star Trek but rather than an exploration of the stars my life has been an exploration of creativity and the human condition.
Over the years I’ve worked as an actor, writer, producer, host, and interviewer. Entertainment is a challenging nut to crack so I float where the current takes me rather than trying to swim upstream.
Singing provides a vibrational and spiritual lift. Acting a cathartic release. Hosting feeds my curiosity.
Writing usually begins with an internal spark or an external trigger that grabs hold of my imagination and refuses to let go. My therapist might call it ruminating. I call it inspiration.
There is depth and humor to my work. Humanity can be guarded. Humor is a tool that can pierce armor, and allow us to consider things we might not otherwise.

My most recent work is a trilogy of satirical music videos that take on issues and storylines in the sports world. Prior to that I released the dark comedies, Like, Comment and Share, and Love Trumps All? I am also working on a debut album of “serious music” that I can’t wait to share.
Outside of entertainment, I have a background in psychology and spent more than a decade working with adults facing severe mental health and substance abuse challenges, along with a brief period working with abused and neglected adolescents. It’s grounding work that also fulfills a promise I made to my younger self.
